This little hotel is close to bus stops, coache stops, ferry stops, bike rentals etc. Its 200m away from the castle of Torri Del Benaco which is attached to the village. Hotel has simple decor, but has a very homely feel with english speaking staff that are so helpful not only with aspects to the hotel but in excursion arrangements and other helpful information to make one feel safe and comfortable. Large breakfasts, comfortable air-conditioned rooms with views over the lake Garda and the mountains behind. For value for money and proximity to places, this is an ideal accommodation.

The staff was great. We had a problem with the air conditioner in our first room. The next day we were moved to a beautiful new space overlooking the castle and lake. The air worked great and my husband was happy. The breakfasts were very good. We also had two dinners and enjoyed the service and yummy food. As a family run place it is modest and welcoming. We would stay again here and defiantly in the Lake Garda area. This location was perfect for getting around the lake.

Providing the facilities match the price you pay, it is the level of service that elevates a hotel from "a place to stay" to "a delightful experience". The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. If going to Lake Garda, Torri del Benaco is a great place to stay.

Hotel Al Castello was absolutely great! Although basic-it isn't a five star luxury hotel-, it is a very clean, bright, comfortable, welcoming hotel, owned & runned by a very friendly and charming family. The food cooked by the mother was very delicious, the wine was fantastic, the portions were more than adequate. The hotel is very close to all amenities and to the beautifull lake Garda. Torri del Benaco is a very lovely, fine and a quiet resort with nice restaurants and shops. We would certainly go back again and would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is not looking for luxury, but a warm, clean, welcoming& relaxing atmosphere.

The staff in this family-run hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is quite good. We liked the location. The centre of Torri de Benaco is within easy walking distance. And in general it is a good home base for exploring the Lake Garda area.

The hotel had very friendly staff, pleasant breakfasts and spotless rooms. It was centrally located for buses, ferries, the castle and local shops and restaurants.

The rooms, whilst very clean, were basic and we only had one very thin pillow each. There wasn't any real outdoor space to relax on a sunny day.

Very cordial and helpful staff. I felt like visiting friends, especially enjoying home cuisine. Good location, beautiful town, easy travel around lake and not so crowded.

If you are travelling by public transport, there is very expensive transfer to Bergamo (fly in the morning and you do not have chance to get here in time by train). The last Bus from Peschiera/Verona goes only till Garda. If you delay it, then only way to get Torri is taxi.

Wonderful location, just a couple of minutes away from the beautiful port and waterfront of Torri del Benaco with its many restaurants and little shops. Very helpful and friendly staff and the breakfast was good.

The location meant it was a bit noisy at night time. The rooms and bathrooms would benefit from a little bit of attention as far as maintenance went but were adequate for a 2* really.

Good value for the money, very nice staff and very decent breakfast with excellent Italian coffee. Close to the lake and the village.
